  4. @NicoleMcLaughlin & @AllRecipes 2 successes out of 4 is not bad!

Tried the Peach Cobbler Dump Cake and it was a partial disaster. Followed the recipe as in the video and recipe on the website and… instead of the 3rd can of peaches, I used a couple small apples sliced up and added. Also add about a 3rd of a cup oatmeal. Dumped the cake mix on the peaches 🍑 and apples 🍎 and butter 🧈, then chucked it in the oven for 50 minutes.

When I pulled it out, a 1/4 of the cake mix was still powder. Hmm? I was able to salvage this dish by giving it a good mix adding about 1/3 cup of apple juice and baking an additional 10-15 minutes.

I also tried the lemon cheesecake squares and that one came out perfectly 👌. I did spice it up and added a thin layer of graham crackers ground up before putting on top layer.

The next disaster was the Mayo grilled cheese. Once again followed the recipe as seen im tje video and on tje website.

Went low and slow in a 12″ very seasoned cast iron skillet. They ended up burning while tje cheese melted and ran out tje center was very mushy and oh yeah you could definitely taste the mayo. It was a mushy mess. I ate them, but this one i won’t be trying again and stick to butter!

The star was the Mayo Ice Cream! Who would have thunk-it! Definitely will be experimenting with added flowers, nuts and like cookie dough.

NowI don’t know what went wrong onntje two, but my ex her mom was a chef and don’t get me wrong, everything tasted amazing. But it would take her forever to make anything and was like most chefs 👩‍🍳 your see on TV. But by the time she was done and the dish or meal ready, I was even hungry anymore. It really turned me off to cooking. Like how the hell could someone be that passionate about food when in reality, we eat food to fuel our bodies.

Then I came across Nicole 5 years ago when she began appearing on Allrecipes. Now I enjoy cooking again and have learned more from Nicole that I ever dud from my mother-it-law.

Keep it up Nicole and you rock!

With the lemon cheesecake bars, can you use puff pastry sheets instead of canned crescents? I really don’t like the taste of pillbury’s canned doughs.
